post your best 10 games, any console, any time it really is that simple.
a little review/why you like it would be good aswell, never know some people may find some new gems  
mine: in no specfic order.
1: final fantasy 7 - quite simply the best rpg evermade imo, story, charecters, battle system is/was stunning, i still replay it to this day.
2: supermario world/ 3/ 2 - pretty much the best playformers ever made  .
3: zelda - a link to the past - massive world, took hours to complete, played flawlessly.
4: super metroid - awsome platformer, one of the first to let you free roam.
5:super mario 64 - just awsome
6: goldeneye - doesnt need an intro, multiplayer stole many hours of my life lol.
7: blast corps - little known gem by rare on the 64, essentially a puzzle/racer hybrid, lasted a long time.
8: tales of symphonia - excellent rpg on the gamecube, very time consuming.
9:chrono trigger - excellent rpg for the snes.
10: pokemon - cos its just so cool lol.

in all honesty im not a fan lol, it just never floated my boat, ive played it numerous times, once on the 64, then on the limited edition collection i got for the gamecube.
its just not for me, never did finish it, the 2d zelda was so much better.

I used to sit up until midnight playing it with my old man when i was about 12, the mine shaft level was fucking hard

halo 3 - absolutely love this game. online is just awesome.
gears of war - one of the finest shooters ever, graphically and playability.
oblivion - really fun game to play, awesome quests and beautiful graphics, scenery.
world of warcraft - really addictive and fun game, long lifespan, kept me amused for ages.
warcraft 3 reign of chaos - awesome strategy game, played it for years.
DDR - you might think 'gay' but kept me fit and impressed the birds at the arcade lol.
soul calibur 2 - loved this game at my local arcade, awesome moves and characters plus i enjoyed the campaign when you made your own characters and could battle your friends ones with EXP.
tony hawk 1 - loved this game cus i used to skate and it was pretty much the first of its kind, used to love busting stupid impossible moves. dont like the new ones now though.
outwar - ok it was a web based game, but i was also hooked on that for ages.. gangster, fighting, make your own crew.. build your character with thugs. quality.
counter strike - classic fps, really used to love playing this, until it turned gay when it started using steam. still a classic though.

Killer Instinct (n64) is missing off these lists, one of the first fighting games with combos, was the tits.
IK+ (C64) proper awesome karate game, loved it.

super mario world on the snes was the best game ever imo. i spent ages trying to get all 96 exits on that game with the cheese bridge exit fucking me off more than a few times
i would say as many good games i had on my psx and ps2, you cant beat the quality of games on the snes
