Fantastic player tho, shame as I actually liked aspects of his game, just not his diving antics and over inflated ego on the pitch

He'll cost a pretty penny, there's probably only 2 or 3 teams capable of buying him.

Seriously, he is awesome

He's 29 though, so a 30m price tag is out the door

He might sell Drogba then buy him back 2 days later for twice as much....just because he can

FPMSL

I like the comment "The damage in the dressing room is big because we know now what happened and WHO caused Mourinho's departure."

Say's an awful lot but yet nothing at all at the same time.... Very ominous. All I can say is I have so much respect for Didier Drogba, even more so after now reading his book. He's a goal scoring machine! But at the end of the day if he's not happy at Chelsea any more then it's best for him to leave cos it's just going to reflect on his performance on the pitch. And no doubt Abramovich will blasé about him leaving, adopting his usual- doesn't matter if he leaves because I can afford more players just to fill the gaps attitude

In reality though who would Abramovich get in to replace him?

Theres not a lot of other strikers in the world that have the qualities Drogba has...

Quick, Strong, good in the air, good finisher.

And surely even Abramovich wont try and get David Villa from Valencia with his £100m+ buy out clause.

Will be interesting to see how Chelsea deal with this outburst from Drogba though.

Ibrahimovic is on fire at Inter even though i dislike him, Huntelaar has been scoring barrel loads in Holland for a good few seasons now, Wagner Love is starting to play regularly from Brazil and is at an Abramovich bankrolled club just now, Anelka would move in a heartbeat and would score goals in the Premiership and then last but not least Berbatov would probably like a move to a team in Europe

thats who they will go for, especially with their Ajax connection now. Its always hit and miss signing players who score a hatful in the Dutch league though - some come and do it here, others do fuck all (Kezman!)
