A friend has asked me the best way to break a laptop. Its nearly 5 years old and has came with 5 years insurance from PC world including accidental damage. Will copy off all the data first, but I obviously dont want anything replaced if even possible.

Drive over it, should break the screen and the motherboard at least, or drop it in the bath with the battery and maybe even the adapter in, that'll be goosed.

Ribena is the best by far, make sure you do it when its on so the circuits are live and it all get fried!

i would go for pshyical damage thats is likley i.e. dropping down the stairs or standing on it, no window dropping or poruring of substances on it tbh as if it dont break it then your pretty fucked

I need to look into this in june, but surely they are aware that everyone will fuck them up at the end of their accident policys?
