Well bought this for £205 the other day
It's a 1.4 sport, with cat-back exhaust system, 15" fox alloys which will probably be up for sale when i find other wheels, full gsi kit with steinmetz front splitter (which will go on my silver corsa probably), lowered 50 or 60mm on g-max shocks and springs, brand new momo steering wheel, maybe MHW rear lights, sadly has 140000 miles on it, fuel pump might need replaced and it has a sunroof. work starts in 2 weeks when i get a weekend of work, and somehow get it 120miles to my dads house.
only thing i've bought so far is these cobra bucket seats and sparco harnesses off someone off here.
things to do:-
decent suspension
1.4 8v sri engine on twin Dellorto carbs
brakes
new bonnet
weld up sunroof
roll cage
bucket seats
perspex windows
cheers

dont add to it fer fuck sake
track car!!
make it lighter. Swap the after market bumpers and lights for standard, using the profit for susp/brake/go go
Drill speed holes in crash bars and excess metal, bumpers etc...
Seat - preference really. I had cheapo's in the pug and i didnt like them. Ones i had in corsa and skyline are much more supportive. Deeper i suppose, and damn sight lighter.
WEIGHT is your enemy. Ged rid of as much of it as you can, its cheaper than buying stuff tomake you faster. Other than that get it on track asap, your the next best thing to improve before the engine.
A slow car with a good driver will be faster than a fast car with a mince driver

I think the course has been running for several years now because i'm in third year and i'm sure it started a few years before i started.
Was thinking to XE it but now thinking SEH it because their cheaper, sound better, lighter and can probably get 150bhp out easy enough.

right, done some work this weekend just abit because cold+dark= stuff this. tried to fit the fuel pump in, which i noticed the wires have been cut because they were soldered on, i beleive the previous owner needed the pump for his astra ohwell. so started putted the mess that was left back together and the top of the pump cover has wires coming out of it which have plugs on it so not for soldering on to the pump and the main plug is a bit different but still plugs in, i'm guessing it's from a different corsa.
nice brown fuel
inside the tank
this is the beast that takes years to read your fuel level
so plugged it in and put the main plug in,
since there is nearly zero fuel in there i thought i would switch the ignition on and see if it works......well it didn't make any noise at all, but then turned the engine over and it would click and thats it, is the pump working?
I could have put the rest of the pipes on and put fuel in to see if it started but na, it was time to get steaming and go partying and take advantage of females.
next update....who knows!!!

righty started work stripping, the car will be a class 1 car (1.4 8v) so an sri engine is needed, if i keep the 1.4 16v the car will be in the 1.6 8v class which is against mk2 escorts and that. Wired the fuel pump directly to a battery and it sounds wrecked really, it's not turning properly at all so maybe new pump but might not need it, depends how fast we get the new engine which will be on twin webbers.
PICS: used my phone sadly!!!
sunroof out
anyone know what this is?
sunroof if anyone whats it?
smashed RHS rear window the tints held the glass together
nice holes behind the drivers seat, easily welded up
going on my silver corsa
Also got some brand new spax rsx coilovers to go on too
tune in next time on project "rally car"
