Ok- stupid question on its way................
My computer has 192 MB of Ram!, and its soooo slow! and ive just noticed i cant play the new Football Manager 2008! has that requires 256 mb ram!
Firstly is 192Mb Ram really poor in todays age?, and is that why the PC is extremely slow in loading etc?
And secondly would you suggest buying a new hardrive?, or can i just add memory? O and What size mb is decent enough?
Hope that was easy enough to understand!
Cheers!

192 is very low these days, your average new machine is coming with 1024MB of RAM if not more. now is the time to buy more RAM as it goes up in price for christmas, in fact its already started.
do you need a new hard drive? depends if you're running out of space etc. adding RAM doesn't affect the hard drive at all, so installing more RAM is possible.

Not running out of space! Just its really slow at loading etc!, and messages always pop up saying
"your system is low on virtual memory"
And then freezes!
Plus it would be a added bonus to play F Manager!
Would you reccomend buying a new hardrive then?, or just buying more memory?, and how much "price wise" would it be?
Thanks for reply Andy!

virtual memory refers to your RAM, nothing to do with your hard drive so if you aren't running out of space theres no need to install a new one.
the problem with RAM is that theres alot of different kinds, without knowing what yours is i can't really give a very accurate price.

i'm afraid that doesn't help alot, there are different kinds in the way they have different fittings, different speeds etc.
ask for advice from PC world then buy from an online shop and install yourself. installing RAM is very easy and takes literally seconds, it'll be cheaper doing it yourself i imagine, but i haven't been in PC world for a long time
they now have the "tech guys" thing going on, i'm not sure if they're any good though
