Done about 10k miles since fitted a few months ago, conversion problems I've had are

Melted pas pipe.
Top Rad hose leak.
Broke Pas pump mount.

Rad is leaking but thats nothing to do with the conversion. apart from the above its been excellent (touches wood!)

Mine was fine.

It shattered a hub when I first had it, that was my fault for not doing up the hub nut.

Engine Mount bolts shook themselves free and started to drop out.

Linkeage broke and needed setting up.

All that over 10k miles, she's been fine really!

Mine was fine. Broke one drive shaft but that was down to my own fault. Never had a problem, always started and run. And handled shit hot! Quality cars XE Corsa's IMO.

Only problem on mine was Snapped Hub, Sensor Failure and Electric Fault due to the ecu loom rubbing on the wiper motor.

honest advice - dont - get a 106 or 205

Understeering... Do you have a front ARB, strut brace etc? Have you tried experimenting with them off?
What is your geometry like? Are you running crap tyres?
