Ive got a student credit card with HSBC which i use quite regularly and i got them to set up a DD to pay offthe full balance every 6 weeks (6 week student offer instead of every 4 weeks). Will i still be 'earning' credit points/history on this card?
Thanks
Edit - or would i be better going with the Classic (however shite) Capital One credit card as this is a 'normal' credit card and doesnt have the dirty student tag attached to it?
Cheers

as long as you dont miss any payments then yes you will be adding to your credit rating

they wouldnt give me it what with being a student, plus i pay everything off as i spend it so interest free is useless to me, tried to get Egg's 3% cashback card but they rejected me also

applying for stuff and getting rejected reduces your credit rating also
dont try to apply for too much stuff without a gap inbetween
