I played 1.6 for a while now and thought it had pretty good gamplay, got source a couple days ago just dosent seem as fun, graphics are an improvement over 1.6 but seems alot easyier to die and harder to kill
Hard to hear the footsteps now and see whos a friend and whos a enemy.

Is the source game better and I just need to give it time ?
Also can you drive cars and bikes in source and where are all the good maps gone, been out two years seems restricted.

I've just got source and again like u said i use to play 1.6 all the time. Quite hard to kill and again i struggle to see who's the enemy and who's not. Got told off for killing team m8s the other nite whoops

Does anyone know where i can download 1.6?

I have a retail disc and cd key for halflife. Just cant find counter strike!

i play source .. cant remeber last time i played the old cs so cant comment on whats better , think it was on 1.3 when i last played

personaly 1.6 or cz

my m8 brougth source gave me 3 days free thing that steam do, i just didnt like it went back to cz and never been happyer
