it has built in wireless, u can also use ethernet but you need an adaptor

did you not download the browser when it was free? i thought if u did it remained free if u already had it and just a charge to new downloads
mines still free
also i got my updates mentioned above come through ages ago but then ive got wii24 set up so its connected all the time to the internet

whats the blue light for around the CD tray and why does the power button stay on yellow when the console is off instead of red now??
edit - after i connected it to the internet and performed a system update that took about 10 minutes

the blue light comes on when you have a message (from another wii user) or there is an update (i think) and the power button is always on iirc

fair enough but ive now turned off the internet and deleted the connection settings but its still yellow? i dont know why but he is very.....strangely....concerned about it lol and i want him to stop giving me shit about it

Depends on the updates you're referring to!
One was to fix a glinch in the online browser. Another added a clock to the menu, and now the updates above.
