I live in Anfield, most places here are shit holes. We live in a nice quiet close and have a really good shopping centre within a couple minutes walk. Local transport is really good too. I like it here tbh and have a master plan of getting the apartment i want I won't go into that lol.
Aigburth and Garson seem decent places. If i have to move from the close we live in now i'll be looking at those areas. Hale Village is nice, got a couple of mates that live there. Both the street and close seem ok an quiet. You get all the expensive houses up that end.

I moved from Aigburth, to Fairfield and now live on Queens Drive, West Derby, out of the 3 I prefer it here, nicer neighbours and believe it or not... less dick heads, but then again I lived in a flat above a shop then! I wouldnt say Aigburth was that good of an area (I lived there for 19 and a half years of my 21 being alive) no more unless you head more towards cressington or where Ian lives (if thats even classed as Aigburth) Know a few people that live in Hale Village, lovley houses like.

Why iceman?
There's loads of nice surrounding areas or actually in town itself would be cool to live, but very expensive.
Avoid areas that immediately surround town like kirkdale, scotty road, anfield, kensington, toxteth. Generally gets better the further out you go (bar norris green, west derby, kirkby, some parts of speke)
North liverpool - Aintree has ok bits, and out furhter towards maghull etc.
I live over the water on the wirral, still handy for town and some ok areas, some really bad areas aswell.
Wallasey is ok in parts (wallasey village, parts of new brighton). Birkenhead is also ok in parts (oxton, bits of tranmere, bits of dibston, claughton), as is moreton/upton way (where I live now)

Also from the Wirral, Upton
Never really used to think about it much but after visiting other places and stuff the Wirral is actually pretty nice (in parts as Tom said )

I'm from wallasey village, and new brighton I suppose. I still consider new brighton home (where my mates all live, know alot of local people from shops, pubs etc ) but live in shitty sughall massie at the minute. Fucking dull tbh

I suppose it is pretty dull compared to Wallasey Village lol, you do have that one pub to go to though so you will get to know everyone in no time

I meant more vs mount pleasant/rake lane area of new brighton
Don't really see much of wallasey village, apart from now n then to the lighthouse.
The fucking willows, went in there a few years ago, my mate was doing his first night there so went along as a bit of moral support (before I lived around here) and there was a full on bar brawl
Won't be going in there again tbh.
