I'm after a new media centre. The one i currently use is just a normal flat bed pc case and is too noisey. I want it to be silent.
I want a purpose built one but cba to buy the parts and build it my self.
Does anyone know any sites that sell ready built systems at a "good" price?
FYI, i'll also be looking into it myself but i'm asking on here incase i miss something.

Add more RAM and change the hard disk. Then add a wireless keyboard. That's just me though, i can get pc stuff at trade prices from work and already have tons of spare stuff floating about.

as it isnt a purpose built media centre though, it might be quite noisey.

There's a couple of P4 small factor hp systems floating about at work. Might see if i can take those home 
They are just old systems companies have had replaced or removed and a server put in there place.

You should be able to change the system fan speeds. Although you might have issues with heat.
Depends how far you sit away from your TV and what sort of unit the PC is going to sit on.
