no radio is where its at anyway. who cares about bass and other fish when you can listen to an engine. far more entertaining. even on long journeys.

stash the face off in the glove box, cba with carrying it around with me. dont think the badgers would risk breaking into me car without being able to see the head unit.

I leave mine in. And the car is normally unlocked. Well there isn't anything in the car to take.

TBH all you bastards that leave them in the car, glovebox, or whatever, annoy me. I've had 2 cars broken into and I'm pretty sure in my mind that they were looking for the face for the stereo both times, but I take it out with me. There's far too many people who leave it in the glovebox/wherever and theives know this, so it doesn't stop them

Took it off put it in the glove box...had it stolen + they took two wheels, the jack, cds, jump leads, and my tools from the boot.
Took it off put under seat..they bent both rear doors open, took the covers off my speakers but took nothing.
Took front off and put in my house...bent passenger door open, stole parcel shelf with speakers in, stealth shelf, cds, sub and amp.
Left stereo in place..never had a problem.
All different cars but I think its just down to luck. If someone wants to break into your car they will. My personal preference these days is to remove and hide up underneath inside the dash

if theyve taken the time to break into your car and theres no stereo face in there, surely they would just steal something else anyway.
