I know its not a Corsa but I thought i may share it with the good people of CS. So as I'm now a Saxo owner i thought i would start up a progress thread. Below are the first pics i have of the car when i put deposit down. many many more subtle and 'controversial' changes to be made. Watch this space. Jay x
1: Day of deposit
2. Got myself a few bits and bobs. bought myself some gravity tools! (55mm kit)
and a nice new breather! (Green filter and raceland enclosure)
Sounds great and nice to have a bit of tug through the rev range.
3. Made a start on suspension:
4. Rear dropped and Custom straight through:
Now we're getting somewhere! Me and monster paid a visit to MIJ Performance, great bunch of lads and so advanced. Highly recommended. so here we go:
Up on the ramps she goes for custom straight through decat with 2" bore:
Then on the lift for torsion bar work:
and 6 hours and 20 mcnuggets later....done!! :-D god im smug.
Few more pics:

Looks well I was talking to Monster yesterday and he said that he'd been with you when you got your car lowered and exhaust fitted.
Made any sound clips?

Erm engine work mainly. Done the big bodykit corsa phase, done the GSI phase but never really put some money and time into a tuning project so this will be it. It has an excellent history and 1 woman owner from new so the engine is an excellent runner and is very strong so seems ideal. Made a good start with air mods, onto Cams, remap after then god knows....maybe tb's (cash depending) as for exterior im having wheels refurbed in smoke grey ish colour. all after xmas tho coz ive only had it 6 wks and already spent £700+

If your thinking you may TB it later on... don't do what I did and get a ECU remap. It may be a slightly cheaper / easier route... but if I now wanted to get TB's / wilder cams I'd need a completely new remap!
Where as a standalone ECU (KMS for example) can just be re tweaked for the new mods.

Back looks a bit lower? It should be around 10mm higher than the front to optimise turn in.

yeh it does look it in the pics as a full tank takes it down a bit.
