The EML hasn't came on, but when I start the car it will idle fine, but won't go over 2k rpm? Same when in any gear. A lad on here said it is probably a sensor of some sort. Any other ideas?

I tried to do a paperclip test but the EML never showed up. Apparently the EML may not have been wired in properly. SBD it may be that, but I wouldn't imagine so, as it worked ace up until the instant it started killing power

Ok it turns out that it was a throttle sensor that was knackered. But on the way home, the lights started dimming and the car started cutting out. The EML then came on and that was it. Now it won't restart and the battery is dead. It is literally BRAND NEW Wtf is going on

one on each side near injectors 1 and 4. also check the earth strap from the alternator to the back of the head/ inlet manifold. its on the left hand side of the engine near the two breather pipes and often looks like a shoel ace
