Seems their has been some talk of young players coming through lately I thought I'd get a post going with who to watch out for in the future...
We have just signed a whole load of kids this summer so its hard to give a proper opinion on a lot of them, as havent seen them in too many reserve/youth games yet. The ones that have been standing out are....
Leto - Has played in the Argentinian youth teams all the way through and joined us this summer (although we signed him last Jan for £1.8m). Is 21 now and a regular on the LW in our reserves, where he is clearly a cut above everyone out there. Has played in the CL for the firsts and got shown up a little, but think with a season in the reserves and training with the first team he will get upto pace. He isnt really a fast, beat-a-man type of winger, but more a player with a great first touch and pass, doesnt look like he is afraid of getting stuck in either. Expect him to pay a bit more for the firsts this season.
Damien Plessis - signed this guy from Lyon on transfer deadline day in August this year, he is 19. Is a bit like Sissoko in the fact he is a big black ball winning central midfielder, but he can also pass a ball as doesnt have fucked up eyes  Have seen him play about 4 or 5 times for the reserves and has controlled the midfield each time.
Geraldo Bruna, Dani Pacheco - nicked them both from Real and Barca this summer. Both are extremely highly rated in Spain. Bruna is a 16yr old Argentinia Winger, and Pacheco is a 16yr old Spanish forward. Both have been tipped to make first team appearences this season, but think it'll be next before we see them personally.
And before anyone says their are no English ones coming through, their is a whole load of them...Hobbs, Ray Putterill, Stephen Darby, Adam Hammill, Danny Guthrie (MOTM for Bolton against United I heard?) and Paul Anderson.

Putterill is loan isn't he?
never heard of plessis of the two from spain 
Might go and watch reserves at some point

A lot of the English lads are on the brink of breaking into the firsts so are out on load to get the last bit of experience. Putterill is still with us though in the reserves.
Putterill, Darby, Spearing, Hobbs, Lindfield, etc. are all with us.
Guthrie is at Bolton, Anderson is at Swansea, Hammill is at Southampton.

the accademy have high hopes for Nathan Eccleston and David Amoo aswell, both scoring goals and playing well together

Newcastle have absolutely none of any note despite ploughing a hell of a lot of cash into the academy

yeah and Eccleston and slow either. They show the games on LFC TV is worth a look

Yeah Ive been watching the reserves on it, havent watched any youth games yet though as always seem to miss them

hes very very quick!! wish we had kept him, he would of prob got some 1st team action but i belive you paid a good sum for him!!

i watched it after the youth team played everton and everton refused liverpool permission to show the game... petty i think... haha
Theres another youngster in there aswell, cant quite remember his name but hes one of the foreign players

You've got first option on any loan deal for him too, so I wouldnt mind betting you'll have him back come next season or one after that for a bit.

Yeah, blue nose bitters didnt want other scouts seeing their players on TV and nicking them
Gonna have to find out thwne they are on then and make sure Im in.
