Thought I'd post up whats going on for those that care...
Rafa contacted Gillett and Hicks with details of 3 players he wanted to sign. One of these cost money (Mascherano) and two were on Bosman frees who we needed to sort out now or miss out on them once Jan comes about, one of these was Kakha Kaladze from Milan.
G&H tell Rafa to STFU about transfers now and will only discuss them when they are over on Dec 15th, and to concentrate on 'coaching and training the team' until then.
Rafa does a press interview prior to the Newcastle game and answers 25 questions with 'I am concentrating on coaching and training the team' 
G&H release a statement confirming what they told Rafa, partly explaining the reason for Rafa's strange interview.
Rafa tells press after Newcastle game that the arguement isnt such a big deal, and the Americans just need to understand that the way transfers work over here is totally different to the US, and by not moving now he will miss out on FREE players.
G&H release another statement saying nothing has changed and they will discuss transfers when they are over on Dec 15th.

Well they obviously know how US sports work, but transfers and the management over here is totally different. Hopefully it can all get cleared up soon and things get back on track.

Yes, but if someone says to you, "look, it doesn't work the same over here" If you have any sense you look into it, rather than piss the main manager of the team off and cause unrest. There isnt any rocket science to it, which makes you wonder how they get so rich.

 tis a sad state of affairs beggining to think they have some issues with him. Not sure why they couldn't talk over the phone or video link if it's such a simple thing to sort out. Not a good sign so early in a relationship

I have no problem with the arguement in general. As Im certain both Fergie and Wenger had issues with the board when trying to impose theirselves and ideas on both United and Arsenal. Its more the fact that the Liverpool way has ALWAYS been to keep these things behind closed doors and sorted out ASAP - but this time its all been done in public.

Yeah, I have no doubt that Rafa's name will get sung a fair few times aswell.
Think their is some pro-suuport of Rafa outside the Sandon @ 7pm too.
