Right, basically, I'm a full time student at University, in 4 days a week. Not all these days are full days. I work in a Spar convenience store, 10 hours per week, the same hours, £5/hour. I don't mind the shocking pay, because they are flexible around Uni and the work is easy.
However, our Univeristy has a job website. The position for a Marketing Assistant has come up in a local town to me. It says it's part-time, so this isn't too much of a problem, but just depends on the hours they need to be put in. I think, this would be good, because it's the area of work I want to go into after Uni.
Do I ring up, ask questions and what not? Or should I not waste their time? What if they require say, 20 hours per week, which I could fit around my Uni timetable BUT would leave not much time for studying etc.
Is this too good an opportunity to miss? Or should I keep focused on my studies?

no use getting the experience if you dont get the degree!
Just need to find a happy medium, somewhere that will give you the amount of hours you think you can handle and still study as much as you need. How many hours you think you could manage a week?

I do spend too much time on here & doing other things, and not focused on my studies. I could easily do 15-20 hours, and I would then be focused on my studies, because I'd have to be.
You have to apply by phone, might ring them up just wondered what everyone else though

Informal interview on Monday.
The don't require hours and hours, so this is looking at being perfect, along with my current part-time job.
Dean is happy

There was some Eastern European at Uni, doing full time Uni business course, and working at Amazon. . .60 hours per week, or something ridiculous. BLATANTLY sending money home.
