just finishing off a car for a customer, thought id take some pics of it as it is now, should be inished this week, should be a beast!

came to us with a 1.7 puma engine in it, we hunted out a low milage focus rs engine with loads of hoses etc, go it mounted:

fitted an uprated gearbox to it with a viscus lsd to help with power delivery

one intercooler and miltek de-cat:

and to finish it off

gotech mfi pro management

some more pics of it

looks really nice! looking forward to seeing it run to be honest!

Engine swap cost would negate the value of it now IMO, it was quick but you could build a supercharged Fiesta ST with similar power for the same money as it would cost to buy a ZS and swap the engine in...

One of the best handling FWD cars ever made.

I didn't realise this thread was so old.

It was the real reg plate, I changed it for one in legal font after I swapped my mk4 Golf for it.

As for it not handling the power, the only thing which it couldn't cope with was my driving style, I smashed a paddle clutch to bits, snapped a shaft and broke a gearbox as it didn't like full throttle launches with launch control and Toyo R888s.

Having owned the car, I would say it handled the power.
