I have done a conversion from an x14xe to a x16xe and at the moment i am not getting a sprk.

i have changed over the spark plugs and distributor but still no joy.

now am running the correct ecu and still no joy

I have checked the earths by using a wire from the negative to different parts of the engine but still no joy?

any ideas?

cheers

if your getting no spark at all then check and clean the crank sensor as this is what governs the spark. check wiring.

Press the valve on the end of the rail in(carefully because fuel might shoot out)

Also, change the crank sensor, cleaning it wont do anything.

Ah fair enough, i thought you hadn't changed it.

Hmm, might be the wires to the sensor are damaged or something.

You have got ALL the earths connected haven't you?

The starter motor one, the 1/2 near the alternator, the 1 on the end of the lower inlet, and the one near the throttle body?
