Can the above be done for free, if not very cheap?

Seen AB tutor, but dont really need all the features!

We use some software called Browse Control made by a company called CodeWork in Manchester.

Lets you do all sorts. Block web access, URL and App filter. Disable USB drives, CD ROM.

Its quite cheap too

Edit - Plus it lets you lock screens and keyboards too

can this be done on a 'normal' home wireless LAn connection, could have a lot of fun with something like this lol

AJ unfortuatly its not as cheap as AB tutor. I just want an app that locks the screen/keyboards etc. Got VNC for the rest

They'll be some freeware that'll do what you need. Its just all the digging that you have to do to find it that s pain in the royal ass

Net Control 2 would do it but it costs about £120 for 1 Administrator and 20 remote PC's.

Or.... give T-VNC a try.

Ive installed T-VNC, but cant get the damn thing to work proper, cant lock out the keyboard or the mouse...

mac's have something like this on them.. they used to do it at college to demostrate something on reason/logic to us

cant you do it via computer management, connect to the computer via the ip and disable usb ports.

right click my computer -> manage -> action ->connect to another computer -> put in the ip

Actually no it doesnt, can only use the device manager on the remote computer as read only
