Not impressed with the level of service this week at all. Story goes like so
ordered a exhaust stystem from them monday, money was with taken staright away, next day a parcel comes from Regal. Good service so far !
was very impressed with the fact they said next day and in came...
then tuesday night of i pop to my unit that i use "harpenden classic and performance"
we un-pack the system and something isnt right, the pipe work does'nt seem to match up ?
so wednesday i give Regal a call to explain the problem. The said they would call back in 5. Two hours later i call again and explain the whole story a second time. They said they will look into it straight away and call back within the next half hour. Did they ? nope...so a third call and still they cant help due to being short staffed
so i went back to HCP to see if we could make a new down-pipe or something. Keiron the owner of HCP decide's to call regal and explain him-self. They "regal" go on there knowledge it another garage, not a costomer.
Keiron gets of the phone and looks kinda blank, he says to me "i have never herd so much rubish in my life"
Regal stated on the phone "if it was us we would lash it up to get the costomer out and on his way"
WTF ? keirons idea after that was to send it back, but i want it so i have decided to let Reflex a local fitter do the new downpipe
so i just spent £400 and a piece of stainless steel
Regal state in the advert "fits first time everytime" lies
"its a cat back system" no it starts half way down the centre pipe, lies again
"tuv tested and approved" where's my paper's then to prove so ?
etc etc
well im glad i have slatted them in the past as they just proved me right
regal you are a bunch of badgers
stavs x

Why did you not just speak to a manager - get the item sent back and sort out either
a) right product
b) refund
Seems stupid to force fit something that doesnt appear to match up

If uve bought the one for the corsa c am not suprised, my m8 got one for his 1.8 the quality of the steel was shit, the backbox was always falling off because the steel was expanding. Went to exhaustsuk in the end & they was shocked with the quality of the steel & he got a new system in the end. He also had the same problems you had with regal

You should have sent it back as it didn't fit. Why should you have to pay out more money? Dont think you did the right thing stavos

Can we keep this legal and accurate please - Stavs - unless those quotes are word for word then they need to go.
Anyone else - we're in a dodgy position unless what you say is true, factual and accurately represented.
The thread can stay but I don't intend dealing with the backlash if its not done correctly.
Also bear in mind that legal obligations mean that you must give the seller an opportunity to rectify - ie. send it back?

i beg to differ on the that mate, i didnt want to use regal due to way the spoke to me at pvs 07,
but they are the only bastuk supplier in the uk.
as for the quility of the exhaust it self will i think its better than the few i have had on my other corsa
sebring
scorpion
lexmaul
reflex *same as powerfow and exhaustuk*
and a piper
most of them where SS and the bastuk is a better finish by far ! the metal is alot more highly polished, the welds are bloody tidy and tight.
the problem here is with regal and there costomer service tbh, just been to pipecraft and they are dealing with it as we speak, so should be ok

stavs i would send them an invoice for the work to be carried out to get it to fit...especially if they claim its fits 100% of the time...its against trading standards to state something if it cannot be entirely true

They wont do anything as they never agreed to him getting any extra work done. If it didnt fit, it should have been sent back..
