What do you need it for? Just UK driving or planning on driving abroad?

TomTom One is good for a UK system. I have a TomTom 910. Comes fully loaded. Full european and american maps, traffic updates, speed camera locations. The list goes on

Got a 910 too, is good but have had a couple of issues with it giving up and the screen going funny while in the middle of Brussells making me late for an appointment with a client Usually ok and always finds the destination ok.

you do for speed cameras etc, you dont for the maps you just need to pay tomtom to buy the updated maps, but they can be bought from ebay at a fraction of the price

>>>This one<<< i have heard is really good, looks hot and talks the talk.

Apparently it speaks with a northern accent, is always hammered and makes you arrive late

New TomToms have Mapshare, which is a brilliant idea.
Speed Cameras etc can be downloaded for free from the internet. If you pay for TomTom Plus though, you get the traffic, weather updates too! It's definitely worth it.

Exactly the same as Lee.

Oh, and Gavin, Halfords currently have the Garmin 250 at £139.99, or did when I worked yesterday evening anyway, so its worth checking.

All the units are upgradable to Europe, but unless you want to download the maps via torrents, it will cost you at least £40 to download them from the manufacturer.
