What shows and car orientated events did everyone attend this year??

Fiesta In The Park - was really wet and a bit of a let down to be honest, I think the lack of action was its main flaw.

French Car Show - Was alright but too much crap going on - monster trucks and guys with rocket suits. Had to sell my track time though cos my gearbox was on its way out. Good thing too cos I broke down on the way home.

Ford Fair - Absolutely awesome as per usual, hottest day of the year I think, all the action was brilliant, a vast array of cars. Loved it.

Rally Day - Awesome again, the show is by far under rated and I cant recommend it enough. My brothers first track session and all went well.

Goodwood - The usual cars and famous drivers, a great experience as per usual but let down by rain but it made for fun on the rally course.

Le Mans - By far the best car orientated event ive been too, more of a car festival. Can't wait to go next year.

Next years plans...
Autosport international
Track day at brands at some point
Nurburgring trip around Easter
and probably all of the above all over again

Bring on 08!

Totally forgot about the Pod trip amongst other various club meets. Santa pod was great fun, would like to get up there myself next year. Also attended two rolling roads last year but neither of them I ran my car on.

I'll be doing the following

GTI spring festival - April 13th, Santa Pod
Classic Ford show - June 1st, Santa Pod
PVS - June 7th, Santa Pod
GTI summer festival - July 6th, Santa Pod
VBOA Billing - July 12th and 13th, Billing Aquadrome
Ford Fair - August (early?), Silverstone
Edition38 - August 28th, 29th and 30th, Overstone Park, Northampton

Might do Rally day, britcar 24 would be a laugh too, and some BTCC rounds, maybe even some drifting at Silverstone

I'm sure there will be others too.

Are you going to do the Classic Ford show and Ford Fair too?

I might go to The Retro Show too, I'm sure you'd enjoy that one, it's on July the 5th at Santa Pod, the day before GTI summer fest, busy weekend

I want to get onto a few more events at Combe. Personally would like to go to Rally Day, Eurofest and the action day early in the year in April.

Want to get out to Nurburgring, can do a long weekend on the cheap! Would be nice to get the Corsa out there. My last remaining target for that car is to drive it in europe

A few more dub shows. I missed out on Oxford Edition, will probably try and get there this year. GTi International on the day before Trax if it falls on the same weekend as usual.

French Car show went this year, good day plus Brunters =

Top Gear - I'll try

Goodwood - Usually my tickets are free through Corporate, so i'll be there again this year.

Plenty of trips to the pod and a couple to Billing like usual.

Another busy summer no doubt!!

GTI International is June the 21st and 22nd Phil, Trax is September the 7th

Doesn't look like anything clashes this year, it was edition38 and Trax this year, but they're not looking like they clash next year if the dates on the internet are right
