those of you that told the insurance the car was not a 5 seater but a 2, did you see a decrease in insurance premium or what?

will go up if you tell them its a 2 seater, will also have to change the log book,
I wouldnt bother TBH

like a roll cage, if you crash less likely of you dying,
Insurance companys see every modification as you wanting to make it go faster/handle better
get a corsa van if you want it stripped

mine is down as a 2 seater on the log book an insurance, the thing that effected it the most was the rollcage they really dont like them.

my old insurance company told me a rollcage instantly makes any car a rally car

Just like if you have 2l brakes or a rear disk conversion.
although your going to stop quicker and less likely to hit somebody, its still a mod.

mines fully stripped with a rollcage. its still down as a 5seater as rear seats can still be fitted it needed

mine is still down as 5 seater aswel as the rears can go back in. sent my insurance company a engineers report regarding the engine being fited, as i was already down as 1.4, just needed it declaring to be safe etc, in the report it said i had 256mm brakes up front and my insurance wasnt affected at all

Gaz has told his insurance company that he has no rears and a roll cage.
No difference in prices.
