nicked the idea of PNG(who nicked the idea of astramk2.com)

You have to post any information about Vauxhall Corsa's no matter how small.

e.g

the brake servo is in a different place on lhd model's (same place as a nova) and has the battery where rhd models has the servo

the grey plastic's changed to black on post model's..

frost blue GSI's was never avalible in england


etc etc etc

Ian will have shitloads of these, things like the radius on the corners of the ash tray 'handle' is larger on the later models than the earlier ones

Some 1.2 8vs use the alternator from an Astra 16v and the exhaust gasket from a Rover.

The small compartment under the ash tray is deleted on airbag models as the control unit is under there.

The 1.2 8v engine was discontinued because it was 100% indestructable, hence never actually requiring servicing.

early 1.2 8v's had a distributer
later 1.2 8v's had a dispac, and also had a bigger tophat/box thingy, than the eaier version

The throttle position sensor is the same for every MPI Corsa engine bar the 1.0 and 1.2 16v, plus lots of others in Astras, Cavaliers and Vectras.

later models had a larger master cyclinder fitted to eliminate the problem of spongy or to much travel in brake pedal

The cup holders can't hold large drinks from mcdonalds properly as they are too long

You can fit them at an angle though. Test it, you'll be amazed.
