Tonight it was proved that they are as good "speed wise" as a mild tune'ed z-let in an astra sri.

erm well my sri turbo, duno what bhp it is,lol

and corsa with the turbo kit was 230bhp apparently dont know what else was done to it!

sri turbo's are 190bhp standard, also the power gains are from regal.
Has one every been on any other rollers ???

the corsa was a 1.8 with dblias turbo conversion, no internal work or uprated bits, also had a bastuk exhaust, 17's and a bit of extra weight from the custom kit

joe, dont no the spec of your's ? phase 1 isnt it ?

its like stage 1.5 lol

got the stage 1 map, cat back, 2.2 air box k&n panel, iridium plugS, and the fmic

Its all down the power to weight.

Joe's car has a hell of a lot of potential with a reputable map it'll be

BlackSRi turbo'd 1.8 tis a lovely car though

it wasnt the black sri Fad, it was a silver one with just the dblias conversion

Sounds good, stage 2 ones are better about 290ish bhp

but a corsa 1.8 turbo wont need loads of power to keep up with an astra sri Z20let (175 bhp). and a 230 bhp one should fly past one.

infact a corsa xe will easily get away from an astra sri.

Blairx16xe on here had a go at an astra sri turbo in his corsa xe,

P7 VXL supposedly has 280bhp but blair's corsa passed him as did my astra gsi turbo

couldn't of been set up right,

yes but joe's is a lot quicker than standard...

ok I wasn't in a good gear (think was in 4th off cam) - but it pulled away from me no sweat coming back from SE! A standard Sri with power to weight I'd of kept up with.

175? where do you get thosee figures from?

maybe a xe corsa would do a standard sri t, but ive tryed with a few and none have won
