Dunno if this is a repost but found this over on AV Forums and thought some of you on here might also find it interesting. I think it looks very cool! Imaging the future of gaming in real 3D action!

Would be cool if some of the Wii folk on here could try it out. Apparently you can download the programme for it off the guys website.

Interesting! Wonder if it will be implemented in to games though.

I bet the 360 could do it better though

also this wouldnt work in a true 1st person environment, only where you effectively mimicking a window, maybe to some effect in a car racing game or something, i think its uses are limited.

Looks good for eye candy on a still image, but i can't see it working with much else

It could work on any game if you think about it though - if you were playing a regular, say driving game, where you just sit in front of the TV then the effect would be minimal, COD where you have to hide behind things and look over things would still work, platform games are on there way out now really so they wouldn't need to be considered.

It could be implemented into any game, just some games the effect would be minimal.

hmm i cant see how it would work on call of duty type games, it would only be noticable if you stopped, and when your moving i think it would totally make things go wierd

Whilst i agree with you to some extent steve you have got to stop being so negative!

If everyone thought like you, nothing would ever progress/get invented

I agree that its use would be limited, and i hear you with the VR shout (it would have been great tho!)

But i think it will make it into games, maybe not as an entire game, but certain levels etc would require the use of head tracking...

Depends who/what gets developed for it really

i think due to the cheaponess and quality of small flat lcd displays now, VR could make a possible return with the helmet though

Touch screen has been used by the military for 40 years now but never fully been implemented into daily life, even though it could quite easily be done.
