yes i am on abt that mine is welded 2 and its has gone all rusty and dont know wot 2 do with now

the later ones like my sport bolt to a welded braket so you wont be able to fit one of them anyway unless you do some welding. its going to be a shit to fix with the engine in which ever way you do it. is it just surface rust or is the tray hanging off?

its just rusty on the surface wot u think i can do 2 it there is no room 2 get a wire brush where the battery tray

just have to wire brush off what you can and then apply some rust treatment like kurust. then just go over it with some paint. theres not much else you can do without getting really serious with it

i got mine from halfords. just get as much of the loose rust off as you can and put some of that stuff on and then give it a quick coat of paint. best stuff to use would be some hammerite rust proof all in one paint. http://www.hammerite.com/uk/products/ps_dtr_metal_paint.html
the brush on stuff would proably be easier to get into the tricky places with
