will a 1.4 sport pump fit a 1.0 12v and if so whats involved in fitting it? or is it screw out and screw back in.

yes and yes.

lift rear seats, flip black cover off.
tap ring round with hammer + screwdriver,
pull out pump and sender, change pump and replace.

im going to replace the whole thing sender and pump so that wont make any difference will it?? thanks for answer

undone the ring swapped the grey part with motor in still no joy, fuel relay? if not any other suggestions

fuel pump relay... drivers kick panel, purple colour IIRC
