Yes, there was a prototype of one of those vehicles for sale on ebay USA.

It only had the drop door on one side if I recall correctly.

To be perfectly honest it makes perfect sense to have doors like that.. there is no need what so ever for the out dated doors on cars these days, especially considering EVERYTHING else is electronic.

the bmw z1 ones were crap as they always packed up, had a few in at my last bodyshop as we were bmw approved and they were cool but can see how they broke down alot and wouldnt be pricey to fix
