why is this?

if im downloading something off the net...

for example...

live for speed demo... it will transfer at 250+kbs

but if im using azereus to get something its lucky to be hitting 10kbs even with 000's of seeders

Have you sorted port forwarding? Do the NAT configuration/test and see if it fails.

I did a load of south park earlier on Azureus and i was getting 700k over 4 torrents.

Testing port 29780 ... OK !

And i have another computer saying the same with... 40086..... ok!

p.s for port forwarding il need to log into my router? as I cant remember my log in details
