I swear I remember seeing a thread with a guide in how to make DIY Depos. I've searhed and can't find it... anyone got a link? Or fancy making one up? I got a few days with nothing to do so may aswell do something constructive.

when i did my mates i put them in the oven to heat them up as the first 1 i did with the heat gun cracked as the heat was to concentrated, it took about 15 to 20 mins to getr each glass off. i also removed the orange indicator lense and we fited orange bulbs instead

ovens the best bet, will heat all of the sealant up, hairdryer/heatgun will only heat up a concentrated area and this will happen:

when you removed the orange indicator lense you still keep the one over the top of that??? (the clear one)

thats just the same as what mine did! no i removed the lot so i have just the bulb. it makes the whole thing look darker. he's going to get some of those silver bulbs coz its a smoke grey car

what is the sealant stuff vaux use on them? its well tough. i dunno how im going to get them back together, don't think a glue gun will hold.

go to vaux and ask for the stuff they fit spoilers and stuff with, i might be able to get you some if you want its awsome stuff

I made that thread about DIY tinting.
Heatgun works absolutely fine.

dont expect the headlights to be any good after though as you are painting a large area of the reflective material so its now non reflective.

itll be a mess when u glue the lens back on, just buy depos, there not that dear..

Use window sealent,its clear u want see the glue.
Ive never understood why people on here buy depos,when all it is..is the plastic bit in the standard light sprayed black 
And instead of using a heatgun stick them in the overn for 10mins it loosens the glue up much easier

or just reheat the original glue left on light's and they will stick back together again
