im after a new camera as im getting a bit bored with my normal point and shoot
I need summat that will take decent night pics and low light level pics

Bought this just the other day.
Massive improvement over my previous point and shoot, but haven't had a chance to get many shots taken.
In my limited experience, but after lots of research, I reckon its the best spec'd camera for the money

Looking at that they've took a bit of a step back with some things. 2 things I noticed were, the shutter speeds, it says 4 seconds as the longest, my S5600 is upto 15 seconds. Also it sounds like it doesn't support RAW files, I'm not sure how much that will effect you, it just gives you more editing capabilities.
4 second shutter speed maybe a little short night shots depending on how many lights are about. That pic I mentioned before was a 15 second shutter speed, although there was only natural light, and it was fairly dark

I must say I used it to take pic at her birthday party.. inside/disco light onetc....... pix came out fab!! black&white/ sepier shots came out stunning.

nope the only add one you can get lense wise is a wide angle adapter which is about £80
|
