Does anyone else have problems with when they plug their phone in, it won't always connect?

Any ideas why it won't?

Check none of the pins are bent or stuck down on the plug. They are all springy but the largest pin on mine got stuck down and needed a gentle nudge with a needle back out. Check none are stuck inside the plug itself

mine sumtimes connects, and sumtimes the phone ramdomly starts stop charging thro the pc cable
