Exactly what are you using then?
Just a bare x16xe engine?
C16xe loom/ecu/sensors(afm etc)

c16xe ecu, loom, afm etc etc
all plugged in fine, as colours matchted only thing that possibly different is its got a x16xe crank sensor
on a x16xe bottom end, c26xe head with dbilas throttle bodies

Crank sensors the same as far as i know.
Check the black plug in the footwell.
Make sure your getting a perm live, and an ignition live.

if you have the X16 bottom end you need a X16 ECU also the C16 ecu will be looking for the AFM

have
thick red wire - live
thick red/blue wire - switched live
got to get a test light monday to check everything, will also plug tech 1 in to see it if even reconises a ECU is there
its gonig to be either wiring or ecu fault, just got to check all the feeds now

The red/blue is fuel pump wire, which the ecu switches to live.
Black should be ignition switched live.

yes im 99% sure it was
4 wires on fuel pump relay
thick 4mm red was perment live
thin black was ignition feed
thin red/brown - cant remember
thick 4mm red/blue was earth

But if your fitting the C16XE and loon to the corsa then the plugs should be the same anyway and even if they have been cut off you just match colour for colour. The reason youve got no spark is your ECU isnt powered up because the EM light doesnt come on (assuming youve wired it up)
but the thick red/blue is the fuel pump, earths are brown

Red/Blue is NOT an earth
The fuel pump earth comes from the pump to the chassis.
Red/Blue is the switched 12v from the relay to the pump.
The thin red/brown is the switched earth, that the ecu switches to then switch the relay. Which supplys 12v to the blue/red wire.

Measure the voltage with the engine running on the red/blue wire......

the red/blue wire runs to all the injectors, fuel tank vent switch and the secondary air pump if you look on TIS wiring diagrams, its an earth

The injectors dont have a permanent earth either!
They have a live on one side and the ECU grounds the other pin of the injector it wants to fire

Aye, as said. The red/bue goes to the injectors yeah, as it provides the 12v to them.
The ecu then grounds them to fire them.
