If i recall correctly Thurlby were showing a performance Corsa D Diesel at some of the shows this year (white with Red Detailling IIRC)
Does any body know any more info on it yet and if its going to be produced?
and what spec's if any
There is nothing on the Thurlby website at the minute about it, only the T9 Astra which is highly tempting to go and look at too
edit- just found out that the new SRI Corsa D is available in a 125ps 1.7 Diesel, but a bit more performance would be better Thurlby stylee

the T9 Astras are about 200bhp and i think 380nm of torque, but i dont think that the Corsa will be that much as they wont come with the Fiat 1.9 16v Diesel engine, they only come with the 1.7, unless Thurlby did a transplant on the Demo car.
I reckon if they are going to put them in to production they will only modify the powerplant that is in them from the SRi me thinks, but you could be right and they may be able to get 200bhp from it.

i do hope they produce them with that engine then as its an awesome power plant, but i cant see them producing many if any if they have to transplant engines in to them

T9 astras are only really worht buying if you really like the mods and you are going to keep it how it is.
Dont forget the T9's are second hand cars modified by the dealer and have to be insured as a modified car. At £17k they are not that cheap for a Sri XP 150 with 10k on the clock.

yes, but to get a mint SRi 150 its 14.5k upwards with similar millage to the T9's, and the T9's come with well worth their value in mods.
The Alcon brakes must be atleast £1500
Compomotives with Tyres will be about £1400
Exhaust will be about £400
Re map etc must be around £500
Suspension must be about £500 too-
and that little lot is without the labour of getting the brakes fitted etc,
So a T9 for £16995 doesnt seem that bad to me plus i think they are doing free insurance for a year on them too at the minute.

I can remember seeing it at PVS. Wasn't the one they had being used for rallying? Sure you could get it with 200bhp too. Was it a 1.9 cdti engine?

yes it is going to be produced, last i heard was there was going to be 3 base models, and then from the 3 models you choose your spec etc
it like a pic N mix corsa. All 3 are Derv and 1 of the models will have the 1.9 engine as fitted in the astra's
Is there nothing on there web site ? they posted on astra sport a short while about it too

From some one that has been looking to buy an astra 150 1.9 cdti or a Seat Leon FR 170 tdi over the last few weeks. The T9 is only a good option if you like the wheels and all the other options on it. For instance I didnt liek the wheels so if I got one they would go, therfore it doesnt make sence financially.
Motorpoint are doing 150 1.9cdti Sri's with 9k on the clock for £10,500.00 those mods dont add up to 7k
We went for the Leon in the end and get it in March
