Anyone else interested in doing a little competition? Just for a bit of fun, and to see some good photography.
Obviously we need to decide as to what photography, subject, time of day etc?
it cant be judged too much on quality though it would be nice to see some semi high resolution photo's
anyone got any ideas as to what it could be based on? seems alot of people are enjoying night time photography?

I wouldnt have a particular subject, what could i take a pic of in selby, a bin? Plus landmark shots are soooooo touristy they just look shit.
Why not just run a monthly competition. Rules are is has to be taken in that month and thats it, off you go snapping. Will need a judge of course

Yeah thats fair enough. I'd say 1 entry per person and has to be taken in that month.
Only problem i see is there will be plenty in Feb, bit less in march then it will just be the same odd few for the rest of the year seen it happen on loads of forums.
No harm giving it a go though. Just start it in february see how it goes on

hell, if it gives me a reason to go out and snap for a specific reason, if only for this month then still good for me.

I'll give it a go, but mine will probably suck....
How will we know its been taken in the current month? Surely you don't want it time/date stamped as that ruins them

i think if you right click on the picture then properties it tells you the date its been stored on your pc

lol funny story there. me & my house mate got a job with em as xmas temps. we somehow managed to finish work there on the 15th of Dec & return to work next week.
They rang us and wanted to know if we wanted a perminant part time position.
Half the xmas temps were lazy unmotivated kids lol.
pretty long xmas break eh?
