I must have missed that thread although it sounds vaguely familar- any more info on them ie: who they currently play for etc? What do you reckon the plan will be for them at ManU being that they are only 17yrs old?

Well according to that they havn't played since they were signed 2 years ago! They'll no doubt feature in the Carling Cup and Fergie will hail them as being superstars then we'll get beat 2-0 and Cosmo will have a hug grin on his face, only to get knocked out in the following round! Says they can't play until summer anyway.

Fabio Pereira da Silva (born 9 July 1990 in Petropolis, Rio de Janeiro) is a Brazilian footballer. He is a left-back who signed a pre-contract agreement for Manchester United in 2005 from Fluminense.[1] He will remain at Fluminense until he turns 18, when he and his twin brother, Rafael will move to Manchester. He and his brother will join Paul Mcguinness's Under-17 team on July 9th once they turn 18 years old. He and his brother both impressed a Manchester United scout while playing in the Nike Cup in Hong Kong. United and Portugal star Cristiano Ronaldo played his part on the job talking with the twins to join United, with Fabio's brother, Rafael commenting, “When we were negotiating, Cristiano Ronaldo phone us saying that Manchester United were a tremendous club and a wonderful place to play football”. The brothers have already taken part in a session at Carrington Training Centre in Manchester together with Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo. Fabio says, “We were there to be familiar with the club and we made part of a friendly match. We play with Rooney and Ronaldo. It was a friendly game with five professionals for one side and another five amateurs for another. They were very kind with us”.
Never played for Fluminense though.

Manchester United are preparing to announce the signing of Fabio and Rafael Silva, Brazil’s answer to the Neville brothers. The 17-year-old twins, who are identical, are scheduled to arrive in Manchester on Monday to join United in a joint £5.2 million transfer from Fluminense, a deal that has been two and a half years in the planning. Like Gary and Phil Neville, the Silva brothers are full backs, with Rafael operating on the right flank and Fabio on the left, even though both are right-footed. They caught Sir Alex Ferguson’s eye in a youth tournament in Hong Kong in 2005, during United’s preseason tour to Asia, and signed precontract agreements with the Barclays Premier League club when they turned 16 in July 2006. Initially the plan was for them to move to Manchester this summer, but the deal has been brought forward now that they have received the necessary paperwork. The twins excelled for Brazil in the Under-17 World Cup finals in South Korea last August, with Fabio, the captain, finishing as his country’s leading scorer.

If they are like traditional Brazilian defenders then they will attack well and defend poorly
