My mate is bullying me to go with him and a few of his mates.
I'm all up for it BUT in my Corsa with a loud exhaust stripped interior 1/3 of a dash left (clocks, thats it). No heater and no music.
Will the end result justify the jurney?

For people that have been round the "ring", what was the top speed that you hit round there?

My mate has a derv Ibiza (was 100bhp one but he's done a lot to it. about 130+ now). His mates that are going have a Type R civic and a Clio sport.
I'd like to know how often you are doing 100+ because i'll be changing my final drive so it'll top out at about 115mph.

Think how we feel Steve, were going in June on the bikes (about 8 of us)... not a comfortable trip!! Should be good though, take it easy and enjoy

135-140 mph... it's more of a case of how big your balls are that how quick you can go... like there's a lot of down hill sections that if you keep it nailed the car will be accelerating v.quickly down, but then again at the bottom is a sharp corner and a harsh banking back upwards
only 251 miles from calais! I'm deffo going again.
little vid of a few bits

note my car had been broken so this was the first day i was out on track (and it was still broken, I just felt I had to go out and not go all the way to the ring and not drive round).
definately go it's a amazing place.

I found that the exciting part!! Its had to really look at the speedo, when your dodging bikes and Ring vet's that know the place backwards!!
What direction does this corner go ??

My poxy 8v Calibra boat hit 120 in Fuchsrohre (just before Adenauer-Forst for those that know the track) apart from the main straight, that and the straight after Flugplatz are the 3 fastest parts of the track in a moderately quick car.
I've been in a 600bhp Supra that hit 160 on the straight after Flugplatz
As long as your car is happy between 60-100 then its more than enough speed to fully "enjoy" the track really IMO.

I know ... The corner is actually going right, ... it's a sweeping right, up over the rise, then down into a left hander... then right and then straight what do I win?

it's this corner
its a right hander, over the crest, then down hill into a left. As I said.
