hi all

i want everones opinion on this if i can just to see what peoples thoughts are.

i got £800 to get a corsa ( not alot i know but ive recently lost my job and need a car to get a new job as im travelling alot )

anyway

theres 2 im interested in,both i have agreed a price but unsure which 1 to have

1) 1994 (L) 1.2 corsa,white,90k.t&t.needs boot and drivers door as b piller on door is close to breaking and rust spot on boot £350

may need interior too as some plonk spilt oil on seat, not alot but enough to notice

ive been offered a door for £20 and a boot for £65 (semi smooth)

also been offered sri/sport interior excluding the door cards for £40

2) 1994 (M) 1.4 spi corsa,white,102k.t&t.needs standard rear lights and reg plates £800

already been offered some post 97 bumpers and tigra wheels for good price so tempted on 1st car but unsure on 2nd as i spend all my money on it

2nd one, it's a better car. Number plates are £10-20 and rear lights, some fool will prob swap their's with you.

put standard lights on the second one and buy that one. 1st one looks like it needs to much work to bother with.

(in my opinion) 2nd one looks loads cleaner too

Personally i'd get the second one as it looks in much better condition. First one looks a little tatty, where as although it's got a few "choice" mods, atleast it seems a little more loved! IIRC insurance diff between the 1.2 and 1.4 is pennies, and the 1.4 is much better to live with!

yeah im drawn towards the 2nd 1,im going to view it tomorrow
heres more pic of it

but as ive said, ive been offered a semi smooth boot and post 97 bumpers.got spare heater knobs in black and some white dials

once ive sorted the reg plates and rear lights its only interior then and it should be a nice motor

list of things to keep you busy:

-remove blue dials and knobs replace with standard
-rear lights back to standard
-normal number plates
-remove front spot lights

result = clean/tidy corsa
