Been offered a swap with a Freind who bought a car and didnt get insurence quote's before hand.
He has this
It has 3 owner's inc him, Fsh some vaux and bit's here and there, 85k but is in very good condition for it's age
Or
see my sig, my 04 corsa 1.8 which is mint with FVsh, im the second owner, and the car has 38k
both are worth the same imo so it would be a straight swap, my premium would rise £300 for the rest of the term which is 6 months, then down to about £500 per year
dont no if i want to loose a low millage car with great history for a car turning near on 90k ?

what engine is the astra? I had a 1.8 running the standard 130bhp (think it is!) and tbh wasnt very impressed at all with the performance or fuel economy.. however they are nice cars tbh ive got a 1.7dti now as a mile muncher and its very comfortable to drive..

If you are getting fed up with the Corsa then I'd go for a different choice of car. An Astra GSi for instance

£920
Is that to do with it being a newer car/engine?

920 inc the manifold, gaskets and bit's and bob's needed to fit. 22bhp increase the dblias site state's
123 + 22 = nippy corsa just £920

the astra may need a new turbo soon (upgrade to a VXR) and should have had its second cambelt changed. The millage isnt an issue if its bene looked after and it looks clean but the turbo and cambelt are two more costs to consider or check on. I would go over the history very carefully before agreeing a swap
