The deadlocks on my 99 sport dont work. I tested by opening window and locking car, shame i could pull the thing up and it would open all the doors.
So what do you need to do to get them working as i'd like my alarm working as my college aint exactly the nicest of places.
Thanks

Here goes again sorry, but this is asked loads of times.
There are 2 parts you'll need. A deadlock ring, and a small barrel part. From Vauxhall (and they should be in stock, they cost less than £10). Fitting is about 1 hour iirc. But if you fancy taking the lock mechanism apart, then go for it. I didn't though

How fiddly is it to replace?
I locked my car with it in the horizontal position and you can still open the bloody doors lol

£10.
Vauxhall give fitting 1hr, so is expensive at Vauxhall. joe6886 (when he advised me on the bits I needed) said he could do it in 15 minutes
EDIT: Might have been 30 minutes, but either way, shorter than Vauxhall quoted. tbh Vauxhall tend to quote 1 hour as minimum on anything.

No, my car was due for a service. Had got the parts about 2 months before, just sat on my desk. He did it inclusive of labour within the service iirc.
But when I asked him to do it, he didn't say "oh, never done that before" so I presumed he knew what he was doing
I was buying the parts, waiting for the card payment to go through. An older man who works there, went passed the parts desk, looked at the bits sitting there, said "deadlocks? Corsa B?" I was like
