Here's my problem i have dropped a 16xe into a 1.4 8v shell and the only thing left to do is wiring the speedo up, because it's changed from previously being cable driven and is now electronic. I have the transducer that goes into the gearbox and all 3 wires cuming from it.
I know what all of the 3 wires do;
Black: ignition live
Blue n Red: speed signal
Brown: earth
I just need to know where each of these wires actually go??
Any help much appreciated

if it was previosly cable driven it would be best to refit the old cable

3 wire one is the type used for ABS cars
expect fault code 24 and for the car to cut out at junctions

on the tranny is a white plastic speedo gear. The cable screws onto this...
or a transducer screws onto it instead if its the 3 pin type.
2 pin type has a sensor that plugs in instead of the white gear
