i have a 1999 1.2 16v corsa b and i need some help!
i was stationary in a car park with my engine and heater on, all of a sudden the revs went straight down and my engine just stopped.
i then started it again and the revs went straight down and the engine stopped again!
i drove it home but everytime i came to a hault, the revs went down and the engine stopped.

any ideas?

where is it loacted? could i do it myself? if not do you know how much it would cost to repair?

you can do it yourself if you are fairly ok with doing bits on your car it sits right on the throttle bodie it has a 2 pin connecter on most

yea, i know where you mean should i replace it or just clean it? is there any i have to disconnect to get to it? i haven't had this problem at all before. to keep it running had to rev the shit out of it!

you can try cleaning it mate as thats free if that dont work then a new one mate i always try and clean mine out every now and then so they dont break

You can't clean em on the 1.2 16v, it's a sealed unit, they're about £85 quid from Vaux and I think it's 3 torx bolts holding it on and a four pin connector, may be wrong tho
