My mate has the XV-DV303, fairly old now, it is in protect mode, and wont turn on, dose anyone know what to do with it? I know its a fairly old system now, but I cant see him wanting to buy a new one. Think he had it quite loud on a film and it went into protect mode, timer light is on, and when you power it on, it clicks, then go's back to protect mode.

Any help if possible cheers
