Don't get me wrong, the Astra VXR is still a nice car. 
Just saying, I think james was looking for things to look out for when buying one 'like dodgy knocks and squeeks' or things that may be worn out on the car. Not to look out for the 'Spppppppppppppppeeeed'
Especially as his current corsa would be a lot quicker.

dont bother, saying there quickness.. there really not that quick, as in couldnt keep up with a corsa gsi or a mitsu colt 1.6 and there handling is crap or the driver was as each corner he lost loads of ground and looked like it was about to flip.. stick with corsa's

paul your spot on! i love my corsa to bits but its not really going to last me as long as a new car would.
i want something thats nice std,bigger than a corsa, newer and still pritty nippy and the vxr fits that bill nicely.
my corsa will feel alot quicker but its not the most comfortable thing to drive around in all the time

well equal length shafts are being fitted this weekend, its off to get fully mapped soon so lookin at more like 250bhp and a lsd is on the cards if i keep it abit longer. im not looking at getting a new car for another 6-12months as i no my car wont sell quick but theres no halm in starting lookin for one now. vxrs will get cheaper by the time i want one for defo

they havent got one in stock atm for me to drive.
looking at either a corsa vxr brand new (£16k) or a 2nd hand astra vxr (£13k) but im not too keen on the new corsas. i personally think there ugly
