the red light came on today and this is the mileage so far from the tank!





(yes thats 469 miles to the tank!!)






just before i filled up

490miles!

christ on a bike mine can only manage just under 300 on a full tank (motorway driving) although that is with my foot to the floor most of the time averages around 240 around town

My 1.2 16v has managed about 425, surprisingly most of that was at the naughty side of 80, which in my car is 4000+ revs

steve yours is a diesel so its expected to get higher milage to a tank, where as a 12v is petrol and slow so youd expect alot lower miles to a tank

i know but then does that mean petrol is crap compared to diesel? you can get more performance out of a diesel for less cost

It thought it was bad when I was getting about 280 miles to a tank at one point when I was having problems, my brother's got a Vectra GSi, it takes about £60 to fill up, and his last tank lasted 260 miles

driving like a granny? its a 12v ffs i need to get somewhere!!

i drove to L'boro uni and back last wkend 100miles each way....i normally get 400 so i was chuffed to get be gettin an extra 50!!
