one with ac will be slower due to added weight

There shouldnt be? The one with A/C might be abit heavier but i doubt that alonje would make a huge difference to the performance.

if the ac is switched on then yes as some of the engine power is powering the ac,also will weigh a little more, cant see it making much difference if ac is switched off though but does weigh a bit!

Iv done the test of letting it run in 1st with no throttle and turning the a/c on. You can feel the car shudder as it loses that bhp to run the a/c system

Mine doesn't shudder with the A/C on either. I would expect it to be slightly slower when its on due to it using engine power, but it shouldn't drive any different at all.

doesn't matter if it's on or off, it's still extra rotating mass on the end of the crank, which will make it slow..
even more slower when turned on,
it's the same fluide pas, that uses some power, when kust being freely rotated, but uses a bit more in the corner's when in use etc
