Would of thought it was obvious managers would prefer 7 players than 5 on the bench, as i say gives them more options.

May aswell give them that choice, although wouldnt be bothered if it was only 5 still.

Managers should have enough knowledge to pick decent Subs in the first place, part of the game knowing which players to have on't bench.

If your just gunna have nearly a full on't bench your taking that skill away.

they were saying on TS that they did this in scotland ? but you had to have a quota of uner 21 players ? dont know if thats true ?

You have to have 2 under 21's on the bench which although it may sound good for the game isn't really. Managers up here dislike it as you're putting players on the bench through necessity rather than merit and the young guys are thinking they've made the grade when in fact they're only there to fulfil the quota.
