Very true. But if he joined a semi-decent club in the Premiership (someone like Blackburn, which would be a step up) then I bet he would score a half decent amount.

You'd think that but their captain and best player went down to Blackburn and scurried back up to the safety of the SPL with his tail between his legs

Yeah but atleast he gave it a go at a big club. Boyd would always have the same option if it didnt work out at the dizzy heights of WHU or Blackburn IMO.

I dont think hes ready for the prem..............yet.....id say hes better than some of the dross thats about tho like Marcus Bent, Harewood to name a few

I think he is a great finisher but his work rate has alot to be desired at times.

Against world class defenders I do not think his work rate would be up to getting the chances he does in the SPL.

She knows the score. She knows he only went there over a similar sized English club (Sheff United, etc. who were interested at the time) to put himself in the shop window until a big club comes in for him.
